Trading Floor
Bourse
A trading floor at list price. The board drops every model to half, the pit goes wild — and one woman raises a single key.
An old stock-exchange floor, tungsten light, tickets in the air. Gary, red jacket, five phones and five keycards, is juggling a receiver on each ear when the big board lights up at list price. Then every line turns green at minus fifty percent, and the floor looks up. The pit erupts. In the middle of it, Dana stands and raises one small silver key. Gary looks down at his lanyard, and drops his phones in the bin one by one.
Six framings, one generation: the whole film is a single take with five cuts written into it, the only way to keep the same Gary and the same Dana from the close-up to the wide. The prices on the board are set in the edit, straight from the product’s real rate card. The last card says it in three lines: every model, half the price, one API key.
