One arena, one fight, one round. A gold number climbs above the cage, and the stands empty as it rises — in a crash game, cashing out is getting up and walking out. In the crowd, a cat and a dog: the cat knocks a beer off the armrest and leaves at 8.51×, paid. The dog never looks and never moves, and is still in its seat at 10.64×, paws over its eyes, alone in twenty thousand empty chairs. Caught by the KO.
The overlay is not a graphic invented for the film — it is the game’s real interface, so the film is literally the screen: multiplier on top, cash-outs sliding in below, the fight in the middle. The fight is the chart. Every generated second is on screen, and the last card says the only thing the film ever says out loud: cash out. Or don’t.
